is managed by a Buenos Aires-based British consultant / surveyor, who holds an Argentine permanent residence visa and  whose native language is English.

Captain David Moore, the Principal, holds a British Foreign-going Master’s (Class 1) Certificate and served at sea, in all ranks to Master. His seafaring experience includes the tanker, bulk-cargo, ro-ro and reefer trades, buoy-tenders & oceanographic research vessels, offshore oil-industry anchor-handling tugs/supply vessels and self-propelled drill ships.

David Moore worked as a Ship Manager, based in Athens, after coming ashore. He then joined The Salvage Association as a Nautical Surveyor, and was based in its Houston - Texas, Dubai and Singapore offices. He later worked as a Marine Consultant and Surveyor in Spain and London, before joinning the Technical Department of a major P & I Club before moving to Buenos Aires in 1999.

Capricorn Marine Services has a team of experienced  surveyors - Master Mariners and Marine Engineers - who work with it as necessary. Full details of their experience and qualifications will be provided on request.
